Just about everything Kaytranada touches turns to gold. And paired with these lush vocals, Kaytranada's production goes very far on this track. "3 Months" encompasses a sweet, jazzy beat with the instrumentals to compliment Shay's voice perfectly. Kaytra releases a ton of music (his Soundcloud stream seems to never end...) and he shows a ton of versatility in his ability to rework beats and entire songs, from slow flows to upbeat party music. The sexy vocals in this song are not to be overlooked as well - "Let me remind you how it feels to have me under you." The lyrics are simple, yet powerful. "3 months" is just a fabulous song to lie around to or drive to - upbeat in such a relaxed way.
